Sometimes a spot opens up for a very good reason. Our rhythm guitarist will be leaving More Than This because his own band is breaking through. Great news for him — but it also means: we’re looking for a new rhythm guitarist.
MORE THAN THIS is the only active Roxy Music & Bryan Ferry tribute band on the European mainland. With a full live band, we bring the music and style of Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry from the ’70s and ’80s back to life: elegant glam rock, a touch of nostalgia and plenty of atmosphere.
We’re looking for an experienced rhythm guitarist who:
• is technically and musically strong;
• has a good feel for sound, dynamics and arrangements;
• can handle both rockier parts and more subtle, atmospheric playing;
• has stage experience and wants to commit for the longer term;
• enjoys being part of an ambitious, friendly and slightly glamorous band;
• being able to provide backing vocals is a definite plus.
You’ll be joining an established, full-sized live band with vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys and saxophone.
Not an exact copy or a costume act — but respect for the original, strong musicianship, style, energy and a healthy dose of glam.
