Hi!
I'm Axel, 31, beginner-intermediate at drums.
I'm looking for a concrete goal to motivate me to practice and learn drums, and so would like to find one or a few bandmates to cover Pond songs with, with a view to performing a 45-minute set end of December (in a rehearsal studio, but still :P). I would like to focus on Pond covers for now to have something concrete to work on, though I'm happy to have some jam moments, and if some songs emerge out of them I'd be happy to integrate them to our end set!
Looking for guitar/synth/vox/bass.
FWIW, I live right next to Helicopter, though open to rehearsing in other spaces.
Looking for people who share the same enthusiasm for Pond as I do!
(Other bands I'm into: Animal Collective, The Garden, Guerilla Toss, Foxygen, Julia Holter, of Montreal, Broadcast)
