Looking for Groovy Humans (for starting a funk band)

Hi! My name is Bas (26), and I’m looking for like-minded (experienced) musicians to start a funk / soul / disco band. To build a strong and balanced lineup, I’m searching for a bassist, drummer, guitarist, singer, keyboardist, and a brass player (trumpet or sax). Age ideally between 20 and 30.
My main inspirations are Couch, Melt, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lake Street Dive, Lawrence, and Vulfmon/Vulfpeck. I play both drums and guitar, but would prefer to focus on guitar for this project, as I’m already drumming in another band.
Rehearsals will likely take place in Amsterdam at Q-Factory.
The goal is to jam, write, and develop our own original music. I’m open to playing covers, especially in the early stages. But in the end, I’d like originals to make up the majority of our repertoire. Once we’re comfortable as a band, I’m aiming to perform live every 2–3 months.
